AnyTranscription may use your personally identifiable information in your account to provide you promotional emails or newsletters. If you do not want to receive promotional emails or newsletters from Anytranscription, please submit a request by emailing AnyTranscription at firstname.lastname@example.org. AnyTranscription will make reasonable efforts to implement any choice you make as soon as possible; provided, however, AnyTranscription reserves the right to send you certain information relating to its services, such as service announcements and administrative messages without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.
When opening a user's account with Anytranscription, we may ask you to provide certain personal information, such as name, e-mail address, home or work address, and/or telephone number. We may also collect general demographic information, such as your age, gender, ZIP code, preferences, and interests. We may also collect information about your visit to the Website, such as pages viewed, links clicked and other similar navigational actions in connection with the website. Additionally, we may collect certain standard browser information, such as your browser type, IP address, access times and any other necessary details that AnyTranscription may need for our statistics and website usage. This information allows AnyTranscription to process your transcription order. AnyTranscription uses your personally identifiable information to provide the services we offer. Nevertheless, your profile and user name are not displayed to transcribers. With the exception of inviting friends and certain notifications, a user email address is not shared or displayed. Members have the option to communicate among themselves using AnyTranscription transcription project pages without disclosing their email addresses, PayPal user names, etc.
AnyTranscription collects and uses your personal information to operate and improve the website and better deliver the services. These uses may include performing analysis aimed at improving the service; making the website or services more user friendly by reducing the need for you to repeatedly enter the same information; and displaying advertising and content that are tailored to your preferences and interests. AnyTranscription may support the website and the service by advertising, and accordingly, we may use some of the information collected in order to customize the advertisements in line with your interests and preferences. We also use your personal information to communicate with you, such as providing you with mandatory notices or discretionary notices about the service. The personally identifiable information AnyTranscription collects is securely stored within our database, and we use standard, industry-wide practices such as firewalls, encryption, and (in certain areas) Secure Socket Layers ("SSL") for protecting your information. However, as effective as encryption technology is, no security system is impenetrable. AnyTranscription cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won't be intercepted while being transmitted to AnyTranscription over the Internet. We recommend that you don’t disclose your password to anyone. All AnyTranscription transcribers, upon acceptance, they sign confidentiality agreement that forbids them from disclosing any information about clients or project they work on. Client information is masked before their projects are sent for transcription by transcribers. Transcribers contract with Anytranscription, including their agreement to destroy all documents and recordings from their computers and any other media within three days after completing the project. Your audio materials are used for transcription purposes only. The audios are used solely by the transcriptionists who type up the audio, after which they are deleted from our database. All transcribers are required to sign a legally binding Confidentiality/NDA with us upon employment. You can be guaranteed that all audio materials will not be shared with any third party.
The website and the service are intended for general audiences, and AnyTranscription does not intentionally collect any personal information from children. During the registration process for an AnyTranscription Account, AnyTranscription does collect age information, and if users identify themselves as under 13 years of age, AnyTranscription will block such users from providing personal information.
